I dream. Kevin's 35-year passion for photography drives him to photograph the world as he sees it - vibrant, imaginative and captivating. Kevin's years of training and experience creating thousands of images, including family portraiture, underwater and fine-art scenics, have led him to develop his unique perspective on living art.

I grow. Ashley's introduction to photography came as a hobby and utilizing ten years of photographic training and experience, she now designs and creates all of McDonnell Photography's labor and delivery photographs, newborn and infant portraits, and custom birth announcements. As a photographer who is also a woman and a mother, Ashley searches out and creates photographic opportunities to capture the essence of and the connection between her subjects. She catches a look or a touch and gives form to our emotions.

I (don't) sleep. The birth of their son, Tristan, brought a newfound joy to Kevin & Ashley's world. The intimacy of parenthood, and extraordinary relationship between child and parent made it so the McDonnell home naturally evolved into a center of connection and tenderness - something they integrate into each of their portrait sessions. Kevin and Ashley share their creative outlook at the world and together, they have created a warm, relaxed setting to capture living memories through photography.

I am. The growth of a family became the growth of a livelihood. Kevin & Ashley knew firsthand the thrill of capturing family milestones in a loving, genuine setting. Their home studio grew as a result of the relationships they made through photographing local families and children.
